Diocesan Leadership Conference
By God's grace, the XI Diocesan Leadership Conference conducted from January 3rd to 6th was a blessed event! 87 delegates representing 24 Youth Fellowships from around the Diocese participated in this year's conference and studied the theme " Leadership: A Costly Discipleship" based on Luke 14:27. We were truly blessed by Coorilos Thirumeni's presence and guidance, challenged by Rajan Mathews' talks, enlightened by Rev. Roy Thomas' in-depth Bible Studies, and enriched by the track content presented by our Youth Chaplains, Rev. P.J. Varghese, and youth leaders Larry Varghese, Roby Mathew, and Sunitha Chandy on Mentoring, Bible Study, Missions, and Worship. This conference was filled with talks and discussions on understanding the costs of being a disciple of Jesus Christ and the responsibilities of being a servant leader to proclaim the true doctrines of the Bible. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, study, praise, and worship. Special thanks to Rev. James Thomas, Vicar of the Colorado Horeb MTC, Mr. Sunil Daniel, Conference Convener, and all the members of the Colorado Horeb Mar Thoma Church for their dedication, leadership, and support in making this conference a great success!
The XII Diocesan Leadership Conference will be conducted from Thursday, January 1 - 4, 2009 and hosted by the Philadelphia Mar Thoma Youth Fellowship, Philadelphia, PA.
National Youth Conference
The XXIX National Mar Thoma Youth Conference will be conducted from Thursday, July 31 - Sunday, August 3, 2008 and hosted by the Detroit Mar Thoma Youth Fellowship, Detroit, MI. Please reserve the date and keep the conference in your prayers.

Mar Thoma Church of San Francisco is privileged to host the 1st ever Family Conference in the history of Mar Thoma Family Conferences, with a major emphasis on participation from our Youths and Young Adults.
The immigrant community in the United States and Europe is going through different phases in its existence. Those who were born and brought up as first generation kids have matured into vibrant young adults with a lot of energy, talent and intelligence. Their participation in church matters is dwindling and there is a widening gap in communication and expectation between them and their parents.
Youths and Young adults need to step up as future leaders of the church in the coming years. They have grown up with a Christ centered lifestyle and embraced the traditional values of the Mar Thoma faith. These groups of youngsters are highly qualified and well trained to lead the next generation kids of the Malayalee Mar Thoma Communities.
So, we encourage all the Mar Thoma Youths and Young Adults who grew up in North America and Europe to attend and participate in this Family Conference 2008 from July 24th to July 27th and together
